Reference conversions
| Source unit | Equivalent |
|---|---|
| Celsius to Fahrenheit | °F = °C × 9/5 + 32 |
| Fahrenheit to Celsius | °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9 |
| Celsius to Kelvin | K = °C + 273.15 |
| Celsius to Rankine | °R = (°C + 273.15) × 9/5 |
Convert four temperature scales with affine formulas. Unlike most unit conversions, temperature scales require both multiplication and an offset.
| Source unit | Equivalent |

| Fahrenheit to Celsius | °C = (°F − 32) × 5/9 |

| Celsius to Rankine | °R = (°C + 273.15) × 9/5 |
25 °C = 77 °F = 298.15 K = 536.67 °R.
A temperature difference is not converted the same way as an absolute temperature. For example, a 1 °C interval equals a 1.8 °F interval without adding 32.
Temperature Converter is for this task: Convert Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, and Rankine with correct offset formulas. It runs in the browser; start with a short, non-sensitive sample and confirm the behavior before processing more data.
Use it for a focused Temperature Converter task when a quick browser workbench is appropriate.
